Last day of massage school today; it's been an interesting 9 months - my licensing exam is next Friday.
The 22nd is the first night 'The Global Bean' will be open until 2AM, so i got a week to spread the word via facebook campaign.. exciting stuff - we'll have a ninja-turtles marathon I and II, along with new menu additions of smoky provalone/assorted cheese quesadillas, and cereal!
Brought an ice cream cake to the potlatch at school today [Gold Medal Ribbon icecream, chocolate cake base]. had my boss write 'Happy Diabetes - All ye 'MPs' on it. *LMP = Licensed Massage Practitioner.
so my routine of school/work/read/write is going to have a 4 hour void for a month or so -- i'm going back to school to sit in on Eastern Theory.
I'm working on getting a used road bike for some Silverdale/West Seattle use.. we'll see.
It should take a minimum of 2 months to get my license in the mail, after the exam; by then i hope to have a sturdy massage chair.
Today i took the MAST permit - Liquor Control Board class; dude gave me the mixologist permit by mistake. *18-20yo recieve permits for serving. I'm not 21 yet - i hope i don't have to fix it.
Today i worked a bit on the less-audible screeching-whistle recall with Maria; haven't really spent much time training with her in a few months. *Maria as pictured above, right. I spoon this bitch at least 4 nights out of the week.

Both jobs payed out last week.. the first pay period after taking care of school loans is a dangerous time of the month. I'm increasingly becoming a discerning consumer.. but it's tough to consume in line with my ideals with limited income; and when i'm still too shallow to let myself become emaciated and rag-laden - i'll save my questioning wanderlust for when i'm out of school-debt and living in a forest for months at a time.
- so what, i bought some new balance shoes, dollar-tag-monday shirts from value village, a palahniuk novel and now i'm kosher? new balance is only MOSTLY made in America... but it's a start. i saw a carhart vest i'd like to buy for winter instead of the stolen black northface jacket i traded $10 worth of bud for.. that's a generally cleaner article of clothing. Consumer shift will bring change.. demonizing a coropration - the truly democratic institution; is to demonize human nature. We made it. Don't feed the animals.
